AISSE -2019 - THE JUBILANT I S SOHAR

The celebration at Indian School Sohar knew no bounds when the Std. X CBSE Results were announced. It was really an enticing dessert to the wonderful feast ISS had as the result of Std. XII. All the 140 students passed with first class giving a gleaming attribute to the hard work of the students and teachers under the able guidance of the Principal, Mrs Sanchita Verma assisted in her efforts by the Vice-Principal Dr. Vinu Kumar and the Section Supervisor, Mr Yashvir Singh. 53 students secured above 90% and 51 secured 80-90%.  Saumya Tiwari got first position securing 98.2%. Lynn Sara Luke secured second position with 97.6 % and Sparsh Gupta stood third with 97.4% .

Outstanding individual performances include a clean sweep of top grades for quite a few students.  Swithin Gladson Gomez, Saumya Tiwari And Zeba Mohammad Zakir Hussain emerged subject toppers in English scoring 99 marks. Sparsh Gupta and Saumya Tiwari topped Maths with 100 marks. Pramite Thesma Premkumar and Rajkumaran Mercy Angel were subject toppers of Science and Social Science respectively with 100 marks. Khushi Anwar, Saumya Tiwari, Ananya Tripathi, Aryan Bhadoo, Prithiviraj Madhavan and Devansh Sharma secured 99marks in Hindi topping the subject. The toppers of Arabic are Catherine Andrews Ravi, Reeve Prinson Fernandes and Griffy Laran Arche securing 95 marks each.  Teffy Merin Titus and Lynn Sara Luke topped Malayalam securing 98 marks each. It was the final result of their strenuous striving, persistent hard work and perfect strategy. They all were brimming with pride and satisfaction. They very fondly commented about the excellent platform that the school has provided them.

The Principal, Mrs. Sanchita Verma said, “The school is very proud of the students whose results are a credit to the school and it is the combined upshot of the persistent support of parents, relentless efforts of students and the dedication of teachers”. She added that the best is yet to come.  It is worthy to remember the prompt steps taken in identifying the requirements of students and taking action at an early stage and help poor performers improve. 

Mr. Abraham George , President School Managing Committee and all the members of  SMC congratulated the Principal for her vision and guidance, the staff for their efficient efforts, and students for their strategic studies. Indian School hopes to break its own records in the years to come, to continue the hard work and come out with flying colours.
