Charity is one of the best and most honored deeds and it has great rewards. To instill this value the Green Gyan – Eco Club of Indian School Sohar launched ‘Joy of Giving’ – Food Donation Drive.
7th May 2019 was an appropriate day being the first day of the holy month of Ramadan! Teachers in charge Ms Radha, Ms Saima and Ms Areej together with the volunteers assembled the food items brought by the students of Classes I-V. Subsequently the food items were distributed in different labour camps, construction workers and the OIG workers in the school, etc.
The Principal Ms. Sanchita Verma graced the occasion by her presence and thanked the students for their whole hearted support and enthusiasm.
ISS wishes to express gratitude to the teachers, students and parents for supporting the Food Donation Drive by donating food items in large quantity.
