Indian School Sohar organized a Donation Campaign on 3rd March 2014 for classes of I to V so as to encourage the students to work for a good cause and understand the importance of community service. Students and teachers turned out in large numbers to donate old cloths, bedsheets, hand bags and shoes filling the cloths donation boxes kept outside school campus.
Leading the campaign Sanchita Verma, the Principal placed the clothes in the donation box first. Students went all over Sohar to donate the clothes for making the campaign a huge success and filled three donation boxes. They were very happy after the venture and learnt the value of sharing their items with the needy.
Special thanks to all the parents for encouraging their wards to come forward for the noble cause.
