QUICK BRAIN COMPETITION FOR CLASS IV

To provide a challenging and engaging mathematical experience that is both competitive and educational, Indian School Sohar organized a Quick brain contest for the students of class IV. The preliminary round was held on 13th October 2022 and concluded with the final round on 27th October 2022.

The competition was designed to encourage the students to achieve speed and accuracy and to create interest to understand mathematics from an early age.

In the preliminary round, students had to answer the questions and puzzles which were displayed on the screen with a time limit set for each question. For the final round, the students had to answer the questions based on a video, images and puzzles which were displayed on the screen.

The students participated enthusiastically and showcased their brilliance by rapidly answering the questions. They found this competition very informative, interesting and enriching.

Vice Principal Mr. Yashvir Singh addressed and encouraged the participants with his inspiring words. He appreciated the students for their active participation and the organizers for their effort.

Vice Principal Mr. Yashvir Singh and HOD Mathematics Mr. Lourduraj for their continuous guidance and support.

Ms. Padma Kudikala, the in charge of the competition and Ms. Lubna Siddiqui, the co-in charge were appreciated for flawlessly organizing the event. The top 3 students were declared the winners.

Giving a tough competition to all the participants, the top three winners are:

First Position - Kiyansh Jignesh Shah - IV F and Siddharth Sinhababu - IV C

Second Position - Sarthak Bhattacharjee - IV G

Third Position - Almas Farheen - IV A and Roshan Balaji - IV A
